Color Splash Sunday <> The Blue Boat

I had no ideias for this color splash and while I was 'paying a visit' to my photos I found this blue boat and decided 'this is the one!'.
The photo is a month old, give or take, and was taken the last time I went to the beach and although it was Autumn there was this beautiful warm sun and we walked around between the algaes and leaving our footprints in the sand. I miss sunny days with no rain...
Take a peep at Amy's artisitcally side for the other entries.

What a beautiful capture - and I miss those kinds of days too! It's lovely to have photos like this to gaze at during the colder, rainy season.

By the way, I loved your comment on the 'malasadas' treat! Yes, the Portuguese have been in Hawaii for a while and they have a lot of influence on the local diet (my other favorite is something we call "Portuguese sausage" - but it is probably also hard to figure out what that might be in Portugal! :)). I would love to return to Portugal one day!

What a gorgeous photo! It is so bright and crisp. The selective color really shows off the vibrant blue color of the boat.
